Eat more to weight less

Many people have wrong assumptions about diet. It is not unusual when people explain diet by eating less or not eating at all the whole day. However, that is not what diet means. Diet means eating healthier food and eating more often in smaller portions. If you think eating less or skipping meals will help you to lose weight, you are in a dangerous situation. Eating too little or skiping meals can easily cause you to gain weight rather than lose weight.

Our bodies never stopped metabolizing, whether there is food coming into the body or there is not. When the body does not find food to digest, your body will digest parts of our own body. This is one of the causes of thyroid. On the other hand, when we skip meals, our bodies will lose their ability to digest food. Then, your body will be shocked to receive the next food that come into it. Incoming food will be digested very slowly. The food will not be digested completely and will leave the undigested fat in the body.

The advantage of eating more often in smaller portions is to train our body’s metabolism to work better, so our body can digest food properly and thoroughly. This will reduce the fat inside our body. It will also reduce our hunger.

The most important thing for a student athlete is eating healthy. I understand if some of you do not have time to cook dinner because of your busy schedules. Others might be tired after a long day of activities. In other situations, you need as much time as you have to study preparing for the exam.

Now, I want to share my experiences with you. Chicken is the easiest meal to cook. You do not need to prepare a lot of ingredients or have a lot of time to cook a chicken. There are also tons of nutrients and vitamins contained in chicken. Chicken contains the least amount of fat too.
